**About the role**



The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking a Research Support
Assistant to join a research team led by Professor Jamie Lachman focused on
the research of parenting interventions in low- and middle-income countries.
You will be a central member of the team, supporting a range of research
activities.





**About you**



You will have a master’s degree, or currently be enrolled on a master’s
programme in a relevant social science/public health/statistics discipline,
along with experience in working on complex research projects. You will have
prior experience working on intervention research and in quantitative data
collection and management. Excellent organisational and team working skills
are essential as well as good communication skills, including the ability to
write text that can be published or presented. You will be able to demonstrate
a commitment to improving the life of children affected by abuse and poverty.





Experience working in low- and middle-income countries, preferably in the
field of child and family research would also be an advantage.

You will be based in Oxford as your normal place of work however there is
opportunity for remote working (up to 40%FTE).
