<div>The Mardakheh group seeks a motivated postdoctoral researcher for a Cancer Research UK-funded project on deciphering the molecular mechanisms of ribosome biogenesis dysregulation in cancer.</div><br>

<div>This full-time fixed-term post is funded by Cancer Research UK for up to 3 years in the first instance.</div><br>

<div>The actual starting salary offered will be based on qualifications and relevant skills acquired and will also be determined by the funding available. </div><br>

<div><strong>About you</strong> </div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>Applicants should hold (or be close to obtaining) a PhD/DPhil in a relevant field, with significant relevant experience in RNA Biology. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track-record (e.g. relevant peer reviewed publications). Sufficient laboratory experience in basic molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology techniques (e.g. molecular cloning, protein and RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, western blotting, mammalian cell culture, genetic manipulation of cells, fluorescent microscopy, etc.) is expected. </div><br>

<div>As a postdoctoral researcher, you are expected be able to manage your own academic research and contribute intellectually to projects, as well as writing manuscripts and presenting research findings at scientific meetings. </div><br>
