The Centre for Teaching and Learning supports the academic development of
teaching at the University by:
• advising on course and curriculum design
• enabling the adoption of new technology and digital resources
• assisting in piloting new teaching methodology.
We support the most valuable teaching practices at the collegiate University
and provide guidance for students and staff as they adopt new practices.
We work to empower communities of educators and students to work together to
advance Oxford’s outstanding personalised teaching for the contemporary world.

**About the Role**
You will lead the work in the CTL to embed and champion student-staff
partnership and student engagement approaches across the Centre’s services and
run workshops and other educational development activities with various
stakeholders across Oxford to provide inclusive, relevant, and engaging
learning experiences for staff.
You will contribute to a range of networking activities, such as liaising with
other student-staff partnership specialists with related interests and
objectives and raising awareness of existing practices at Oxford and other
institutions.
**About You**
We are seeking someone who is passionate about student-staff partnership
working. You will be able to build excellent relationships with colleagues
across Oxford and provide services, advice, and hands-on help that enables
them to achieve their educational aims and evolve their local practice in
relation to student-staff partnerships.
You will have practical experience in contributing to professional development
opportunities for staff to develop their educational practices, especially in
relation to student-staff partnership working and the ability to design and
develop small-scale projects.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work productively
with colleagues from many different parts of the University and in different
roles. You will contribute to projects across the University to support
student-staff partnership working.
