Senior Research Associate in Automatic Tuning of Quantum Dot Devices

We are seeking a senior postdoctoral research assistant in Automatic Tuning of
Quantum Dot Devises to join Natalia Ares’s research group at the Department of
Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is funded by US Army:
Department of Defense Awarding Office, and is fixed-term 2 year contract
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, you will help ensure a healthy and
vibrant research environment within Natalia Ares’s Research Group. This will
involve leading, devising, coordinating and supervising research projects in
this area, including the work involved in the collaborations with project
partners, guidance to researchers and students, and winning further funding to
underpin the research.
You should possess a Ph.D/D.Phil with post qualification experience. You
should possess the ability to develop new research projects and raise research
funds through making grant applications. Excellent communication skills,
including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and
results, and represent the research group at meetings is essential.
