The project builds on the expertise of the Fuchter group in the design, synthesis and study of optical materials.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><em>Find out more about the Fuchter group&#8217;s research at:</em> &#160;<a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.chem.ox.ac.uk/people/matthew-fuchter">fuchter group</a></div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>About you</strong>&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, (<strong>or be close to completion</strong>) prior to taking up the appointment.&#160; The research requires experience in computational chemistry, including machine learning, chemical synthesis of small molecules and polymers, and novel spectroscopic setups.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities.
