The Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) is the hub for the University of Oxford's work in development and a unit of the University's Social Sciences Division. It's objective is to conduct high level research which advances understanding of the complex economic, social and political processes of change in countries in the poorer parts of the world and to educate students to understand these processes in disciplinary and multi-disciplinary perspective. The Department is located at Queen Elizabeth House in Mansfield Road and is often referred to as 'QEH'.
