Research Administrator PERL Group and PA to Catherine Harmer

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are looking to appoint a part-time (60% FTE) research administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and PA support to Professor Catherine Harmer and her Psychopharmacology and Emotion Research (PERL) group.&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; The post is part-time 60% FTE to be worked over 4-5 days.&#160; The post is based in the Department of Psychiatry, at the Warneford Hospital. &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post is for a fixed term (funded to 31 March 2026 in the first instance) &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be a key point of contact for the group, coordinating meetings, and making arrangements for events and conferences.&#160; You be responsible for diary coordination and will reply to a range of inquiries and issues on behalf of Professor Harmer, using initiative to make considered judgements when juggling the demands placed on the schedule.&#160;&#160; You will assist with project management and planning for the group and also in the preparation and submission of grant applications.&#160;&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent with experience of managing the administration and/or diary of a senior member of staff.&#160;&#160; With excellent communication and computer skills, you will have the ability to draft correspondence and produce well-presented reports.&#160;&#160; &#160;Previous experience of working in a medical/academic/research environment or managing research team operations and administration is essential.&#160;&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be required to upload a supporting statement, a CV, and details of two referees as part of your online application.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for this post is 12.00 midday on 16th October 2023</div><br> <div>&#160;<br> <br>&#160;&#160;</div> </div>
