Part-time Research Project Administrator

We are looking for a part-time Research Project Administrator, to work for a
Research group, under the supervision of Professor Michael Bronstein. This
post is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to support and
collaboratively work with a fast paced and world-leading research group.





This role will provide administrative support for the UKRI funded project
_Geometric and Topological Machine Learning for Next Generation Drugs and
Food_. The project administrator will ensure that the award is managed
effectively and that the project teams are supported in the delivery of world
leading research and dissemination. The role will be varied covering anything
from assisting with the forecasting of project funds to the arrangement of
travel for project teams and the organization of workshops and visits.





The post holder will be expected to work independently with minimal
supervision from their line manager, handling queries relating to the project,
managing diaries for PI and co-investigators, assisting with the project
organization, tracking the project budget, assisting with reporting and
providing additional administrative support as required.





The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal
skills, experience of project management, including budgeting and writing
funding proposals. Experience is also required in capturing and documenting
progress made in a research project and producing regular reports for funding
bodies.





Applicants should have a university degree in a relevant topic, excellent
writing skills, and be able to work independently, with the ability to create
reports, budgets and other materials, on time and to a high standard.
