<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are looking for a <strong>Postdoctoral Researcher</strong>&#160;to work on a Wellcome Trust-funded project to Prof Heidi Johansen-Berg, in collaboration with Prof Tim Behrens,&#160;investigating a hierarchical representation of sequences in human entorhinal cortex. You will collect and analyse various types of data including single-unit recordings from epilepsy patients, fMRI and MEG data from healthy volunteers.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will join the laboratory of Dr Tim Behrens at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford. Research in the lab focuses on the cross-species understanding of the brain mechanisms underlying flexible behaviour.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will have completed, or be near to completing, a PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. Neuroscience) as well as hold a first MSc degree in a relevant discipline. They will also have expert knowledge of the field of hierarchical representations as well as experience in analysing single cell and MEG data and with MATLAB/Python.
