**About the role**
The Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) is a leading clinical research group based at
the Centre for Clinical Vaccinology & Tropical Medicine at the Churchill
Hospital, led by Professor Sir Andrew Pollard. OVG is part of the Department
of Paediatrics and conduct studies into new and improved vaccines for adults
and children. We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Trials Receptionist and
Administrator to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities include providing a reception service and dealing with
queries from members of the public, study participants, colleagues and team
managers. Clerical duties include booking and rearranging appointments,
maintaining visit calendars, data entry, minute taking, preparing paperwork on
behalf of colleagues, management of post/deliveries and general office
administration.
This is a full-time fixed-term appointment for one year, with the potential
for extension.
Please note, whilst we endeavour to support flexible working, this is an in-
office role with ideal working hours of 8am to 4pm (8.30am to 4.30pm will be
considered) due to the requirements of the post.

You must use your initiative, be trustworthy, efficient and dependable and
enjoy working as part of a team. Excellent communication and organisational
skills are essential. There is great opportunity in this post to develop the
skills necessary to develop a career in clinical trial administration.
