We are searching for an experienced and motivated data scientist, with
expertise in Radio Astronomy imaging and Python to join an international team
using SKA pathfinders such as LOFAR and the uGMRT to improve data processing
pipelines in preparation for the Square Kilometre Array (SKA)
The successful applicant will join a team of experts in at Oxford
Astrophysics, and a broader team of collaborators in Durham and India.
• Hold or be close to completion of a Ph.D./D.Phil in astrophysics or relevant
field.
• Experience in Astronomical imaging from radio interferometers
• Experience in Machine learning techniques
• Experience in python and machine learning libraries
