We are recruiting for a Deputy Head of Development to join the Gardens,
Libraries & Museums (GLAM) Team within the University of Oxford’s Development
Office https://www.glam.ox.ac.uk/home.

The collections are important and renowned on their own accounts, but also
play an important role in the University’s research. In addition, they are the
open doors to the University of Oxford, encouraging a diverse range of
communities to engage our academics and curators.





**About the role:**



In your role, you will be involved in leading on fundraising for the
exhibitions and other day-to-day activities across GLAM, supporting a team of
fundraisers, and working closely with members of the institutions. In
addition, you will have your own portfolio of major gift prospects, and will
work with donors, prospects, volunteers and senior academics. You will also
work closely with the Associate Director of Development – GLAM to develop
strategies and manage relationships with the Directors.





**To be successful in the role:**



We are seeking an experienced major gift fundraiser, with proven success of
achieving six and seven figure gifts. This is an opportunity to raise funds to
support some of the most beautiful and significant objects and collections in
the country, so your enthusiasm and interest in the arts and sciences is
essential. In addition, you will be able to work with our eminent academics
and curators and support them in developing projects to present to donors.
