**About the Blavatnik School of Government**

Our vision is of a world better led, a world better served and a world better

**What we offer**

The School is a collaborative, friendly, and dynamic department based in an
award-winning building in Oxford. We host regular events and talks with well-

**About the Role**

The Blavatnik School of Government is looking for an enthusiastic,

heart of the What Works Hub on Global Education (WWHGE); a new £30m six-year
global research and policy effort.

You’ll be supporting two new Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded research
funds for scaling foundational learning and also contribute to conceptualising
new research and policy projects. The Research and Policy Officer role blends
engagement, writing, and management.

You will support evidence translation and partnership and policy engagement.
This will involve representing the WWHGE in external partners meetings,
workshops, and conferences; contributing to research and policy analysis and
co-authoring policy papers and briefs; and developing substantive tools for
communicating about the WWHGE core research and workstreams.

**About You**

You will be educated to the graduate level, with sufficient specialist
knowledge of the international education/international development sector and
previous experience working with high level stakeholders.

You will have exceptional organisational and communication skills, including a
demonstrated ability to write for a non-expert audience, and strong
relationship management and engagement skills.

A flexible, can-do approach to work, self-motivation, and willingness to adapt
to the changing needs and priorities of the programme are essential for the
role.

**Application Process**

You will be required to upload a covering letter/supporting statement, CV and
the details of two referees as part of your online application.

The closing date for applications is **12:00 noon (UK time) on Monday 5
