The Department of Physics are looking to recruit a Lab Assistant to support
the Superconducting Quantum Device Development team and to help PDRAs and PhD
students in the group to develop ultra-sensitive superconducting quantum
devices operating in cryogenic environment using multiple high-end
microwave/millimetre/sub-millimetre equipment.
You will be an experienced member of the team providing technical and
administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories.

**About You**
Knowledge in the below is essential for this position
• operation of ultra-sensitive devices
• cryogenic experiments
• superconducting device test
• software coding
• superconducting device fabrication
• microwave engineering and experimental setup
Experience in working in a laboratory environment and hazardous chemicals is
also essential
