<div>You will provide administrative support to Physics Small Research Facilities (SRF), in particular to the facility managers of the Mechanical and Electronics Workshops and act as the first point of contact for the Technical Support Group.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>The duties of the role will include updating information on the website and publications, making administrative arrangements for training and events advanced use of spreadsheets for financial reporting and the setting up and maintaining of various administrative processes to meet the needs of different SRF managers. Manage the diary of the Head of Technical Services group and send messages on their behalf. Assist with staff recruitment and raising requests to invoice and placing orders. Prepare and circulate papers, agendas and minutes for meetings and maintain a filing system within the office.</div><br>

<div>Applicants should have experience of managing an administrative process and or customer facing work. The ability to work independently with minimum supervision and to organise and prioritise their own workload and work to deadlines. Excellent computer skills including: email, Word, Excel and have experience of using a database. Experience of diary management and working on confidential matters with tact and discretion. A high level of numeracy and attention to detail are also essential.</div><br>

<div>Previous experience in financial administration and or experience of working in a higher education institution will be an advantage.</div><br>
