This new role is being offered on a one-year fixed term opportunity but may become a permanent appointment. The post holder will be responsible to the Finance Manager for the effective line management of a team of six. The role will include assisting in various finance tasks which includes month end reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and year-end processes. The Deputy Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Manager to support the Senior Leadership Team and other colleagues in the Department including its varied business units. The role will also involve engaging with colleagues in the wider University.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>About you&#160;&#160;</strong></div><br> <div>We are looking for a qualified accountant, or suitably experienced finance professional, with a keen interest in managing and developing the staff and has proven experience in providing excellent customer service. You will be based at Rewley House with the option of regular remote working as agreed with your line manager.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will have effective verbal and written&#160;communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships.
