<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic communications expert to join the Research Strategy and Funding team in the Medical Sciences Division. With a specific focus on global health, including themes ranging from climate impacts on mental health to infectious diseases such as malaria, this role promises to be exciting and challenging. The successful applicant will be keen to engage with the many issues and opportunities that arise and be a pivotal member of friendly, welcoming and supportive teams.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The role will report to the Global Health Facilitator and be part of the Research Strategy and Funding Team and the Communications Team. The role holder will actively raise the profile and visibility of&#160;<a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.globalhealth.ox.ac.uk/">Oxford Global Health</a>&#160;both internally and externally, create new and engaging website content and digital media posts, write copy for internal communications, assist with promoting and running events, support the development of thematic networks, and identify opportunities to progress the team&#8217;s objectives.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful applicant will have proven communications or marketing experience, as well as demonstrable experience working simultaneously across multiple projects, managing varied deadlines, and prioritising workload effectively. You will be adept at maintaining open, clear communication with team leads and other relevant stakeholders, and the ability to confidently, and sometimes independently, advocate for the use of best practice communication methods. The role holder should have a good knowledge of digital communications, experience evaluating the impact of communication methods and working with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
