The Faculty of Law is looking to appoint a Research Administrator for until 3
October 2025. As part of the Faculty’s Research Support Team, the postholder
will provide support to the Senior Research Facilitator re: research funding
applications, grants management, advertising funding applications and
research-related personnel and finance matters.
This role, which can be offered as a secondment opportunity, requires research
support experience and provides an excellent prospect for someone interested
in a career in research administration.
Line managed by the Senior Facilitator, the successful candidate will be able
to work independently, with good time management and organisational skills. In
addition, the postholder will have proven experience of financial and/or
research grants administration, effective interpersonal and communication
skills, and excellent IT capabilities. Experience of using X5 and Oracle
Financials, and the ability to convey complex funder rules, or similar, to
colleagues in an effective way would be desirable as well.
The post is fixed term until 3 October 2025, and full time. The post holder
will be based in the Faculty of Law, St Cross Building, St Cross Road, Oxford,
OX1 3UL with the flexibility to work hybrid once settled into the role.
