points: answering enquiries and supporting readers in accessing the libraries’
resources, spaces and services. You will also fetch and re-shelve books, scan

project work. At all times, you will contribute to our mission to deliver
excellent service and a great user experience.

alternate Saturdays, 09:45-18:15

• Post 2 (Art Library): 12.75 hours per week, approx. 0.3493 FTE – Wednesdays,
Thursdays & Fridays, 17:00-21:15

• Post 3 (Art Library): 12.25 h/w, approx. 0.3356 FTE – Tuesdays, 17:00-21:15;
Sundays, 10:45-19:15

**Please indicate in your supporting evidence form whether you are interested
in applying for one or more of the posts.**

You may be asked to provide cover at a library other than your regular working
location from time to time, usually within the section but in exceptional
circumstances, in other Bodleian Humanities Libraries.

These roles involve regular manual handling, including lifting and carrying
books and crates, pushing trolleys and using ladders and kick stools. Climbing
ladders exceeding 2 meters in height is exclusive to the Taylor Institution
Library.

**About You**

You will have a strong customer focus, and the ability to communicate clearly,
confidently and courteously with readers and staff.

You will be reliable and punctual, an effective team player, and able to
undertake routine tasks with care and accuracy.

A good level of IT literacy including the use of Microsoft Office applications
is also essential.

alternative format, or if you would like to request any adjustments to support
you through the application or interview process, please contact the
