<div><strong>IT Services</strong> is a central department that supports the entire University in achieving its academic and research goals through the innovative use of technology. Within IT Services, the <strong>Programme and Projects Delivery Group (PPDG)</strong> brings together specialists in programme and project management, business analysis, testing, training, communications, and change management to ensure the effective delivery of digital initiatives across the University.</div><br>

<div>This is a dynamic role in which you will work closely with colleagues in the <strong>UAS</strong> and <strong>UAS communications team</strong>, with whom you can be co-located with in the office.</div><br>

<div><strong>About the Role</strong></div><br>
<ul><br>
<li>The University of Oxford is embarking on a significant digital transformation initiative aimed at enhancing its digital communications. As part of the Transforming Oxford’s Digital Communications Programme, we are looking for an Implementation Officer to plan and lead the migration of digital content owned the central University Administration and Services (UAS) to new platforms.</li><br>
<li>As an Implementation Officer, you will oversee and manage the migration of UAS content from existing web platforms to new Web CMS and intranet platforms. You’ll liaise with content and site owners to understand their requirements for content migration, as well as support communications and advocate for user-focused web and intranet content design. You’ll play a vital role in providing feedback from users on their needs for the ongoing development of the content hosting platforms, and overseeing the divisional migration progress.</li><br>
<li>The role offers an opportunity to make a real difference to the way Oxford’s digital communications are set up to be fit for the future, while being part of a team spanning communications and IT professionals.</li><br>

<div><strong>About You</strong></div><br>
<ul><br>
<li>You will be a skilled planner with strong communication skills, who is comfortable liaising, negotiating, and influencing at all levels of the organization.</li><br>
<li>You will have experience working with digital publishing platforms and possess content design expertise, including an understanding of information architecture, accessibility, and user-centric design and a drive to improve these.</li><br>
