<div>As a Maintenance Planner, you will work closely with Senior Engineers, department managers, contractors and other University support services to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems. You will develop and manage maintenance strategies that ensure every part of our diverse estate performs at its best.</div><br>

<div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>•     Develop and administer maintenance contracts and specifications.</div><br>
<div>•     Lead tender processes and collaborate with purchasing and legal services.</div><br>
<div>•     Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.</div><br>
<div>•     Work closely with the Estates Compliance team and the Safety Office to maintain safety standards.</div><br>
<div>•     Enhance our Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system to optimize maintenance workflows.</div><br>
<div>•     Coordinate with internal teams to minimise disruption during maintenance activities.</div><br>

<div><strong>About You:</strong></div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>You are a strategic thinker with experience in contractor administration and maintenance planning. However, we are looking for someone who is not just experienced but also excited by the challenge of maintaining a truly unique and varied estate. You have strong planning and organisational skills, and you are proactive, able to manage your workload efficiently.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>With a deep knowledge of maintenance practices, building systems, and procedures, you are passionate about safety and efficiency, ready to ensure our spaces function at their best.</div><br>

<div>You have a strong commitment to health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and lead in a complex environment.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.</div><br>
